Richard earned his Masters degree in physical therapy from California State University, Long Beach in 2001. He serves as a consultant to De Anza College Athletics and has been a clinical instructor to physical therapy students and athletic trainers for several years. He is certified in the analysis of golf swings through BACKtoGOLF, and combines the unique training of physical therapists with proven golf swing techniques. In addition, he is versed in keyboard and ergonomic retraining as well.
Rich is a Bay Area native, graduated from Monta Vista High School and now resides in Sunnyvale with his wife and two sons. He has provided physical therapy services to Bay Area residents for many years, and continues the spirit of the neighborhood through active participation in the community, supporting athletics at the recreational, high school, college, and professional levels, as well as charitable organizations. He also gives talks at local schools about the field of physical therapy.
In his spare time, Rich enjoys golfing, weight training, cycling, scuba diving, snowboarding, traveling and camping.
Jason is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Integrative Biology. He then earned a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University in 2002.
Jason has focused his practice on general orthopedics, sports, and workplace injuries. Jason has taken continuing education courses on spinal, sacroiliac, shoulder, knee, and foot injuries. He focuses his treatment on manual techniques, posture, ergonomics, and functional/sport activities, as well as general strengthening and conditioning. Jason's goal is for his patients to learn how to recover from their current injuries and how to prevent future injuries from occurring.
In his free time Jason enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, running, cooking, and learning new things.
Michi discovered her admiration for physical therapy during her undergraduate studies at University of California San Diego, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical therapy at University of Southern California in 2012. She is a Movement Links Certified (MLC) clinician and is also skilled in the use of Mulligan manual therapy and Kinesiotape.
Michi has always taken an interest in orthopedic and sports related injuries, and is specifically passionate about running related injuries. Her approach focuses on assessing how a particular joint/muscle/problem area interacts with other regions in the body, so she can treat the body as a whole. Her goal is to teach her patients how to take control of their own bodies, and not let the symptoms control them!
Outside of work, Michi enjoys running, hiking, chasing waterfalls, and exploring new cities.
Cathleen graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from The State University of New York at Stony Brooks in 2000. In 2014, she completed her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University.
Since graduation, Cathleen has focused her attention on expending her manual therapy skills. She is now well-versed in the use of the Maitland Approach and the use of rehabilitative taping techniques. Cathleen’s experience in working with geriatric, occupational medicine and orthopedic populations is allowing her a unique flexibility of practice.
Cathleen is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
In her leisure time, Cathleen enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and taking her dog on different adventures.
